(*1953), sees design as a process of constructing information to create impressions. His goal is to create a clear and effective communication. Through his consistent design principle he has worked on a wide range of projects from cultural sectors to corporate branding from information design to space design. His works have been showcased in exhibitions and he has given many lecture both domestically and internationally, actively presenting his experimental challenge. During his career, Sugisaki has received a number of prestigious design awards: Distinctive Merit Award, Art Directors Club, NY; Typography Excellence, Type Directors Club, NY; Good Design Award; Red Dot Design Award; HKDA Asia Design Awards; International Triennials and Biennials: Toyama, Trnava, Brno, Warsaw and Lahti. His work is often selected for collections: Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg; Regional Council Heritage Museum Hong Kong. His collected works include: Solidgraphy, Impression Architecture, and New Generation Graphic Designer.

Con i suoi coerenti principi di progettazione ha lavorato ad una vasta gamma di progetti, dal settore culturale all’immagine coordinata, dal design dell’informazione al design ambientale. Il suo lavoro è stato presentato in diverse mostre e ha tenuto numerose lezioni sia in ambito nazionale che internazionale, promuovendo attivamente le sue sfide sperimentali. Er definiert Design als einen Prozess, bei dem Informationen so aufbereitet werden, dass sie Impressionen erzeugen. Sein Ziel ist eine klare und effiziente Kommunikation. Dieses Designprinzip verfolgt er konsequent bei seinen Projekten. Seine Projekte reichen vom Bereich der Kultur über die Markenentwicklung von Unternehmen bis hin zum Informations- oder Raumdesign. Shinnoske Sugisaki erhielt zahlreiche Preise, wie den Distinctive Merit Award, Art Directors Club – New York, dem Typography Excellence, Type Directors Club – New York, dem Good Design Award, dem Red Dot Design Award und dem Hong Kong Designers Association Asia Design Award. Außerdem sind seine Arbeiten immer wieder in renommierten Museen zu sehen, wie in dem Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg oder dem Regional Council Heritage Museum Hong Kong. Shinnoske Sugisaki ist Autor des Buches »Impression Architecture: Graphic Design« und Professor für visuelle Kommunikation an der Universität der Künste in Osaka.
