Typographic Tables

is a exhibition curated by Antonino Benincasa, it is a project that brings 30 contemporary Graphic Designers, Typographers, Calligraphers, Artists and emerging talents together in an international design exhibition. The project aims to explore new ways of cooperation between designers in the field of visual culture. The designers will show the visitors a typographic table with a surface of 1×1 m. A space to sit around, to eat, to discuss with your table neighbor. And of course the designers had to accept that the visitors of the finissage will touch and interact with their own hands the designed, leaving traces of the use.

Typographic Tables

un progetto a cura di Antonino Benincasa. Typographic Tables è un progetto che riunisce in una mostra internazionale 30 rinomati designer, tipografi, calligrafi, artisti e talenti emergenti. L’obiettivo del progetto è l’esplorazione di nuove forme di cooperazione tra designer attivi nel campo della cultura visuale. I designer mostreranno ai visitatori della mostra un tavolo tipografico con superficie di 1×1 m. Uno spazio al quale sedersi attorno, per mangiare, discutere con il proprio vicino. Ovviamente i designer hanno dovuto accettare il fatto che coloro che prenderanno parte al finissage toccheranno e interagiranno con gli elementi progettati, lasciando traccia del loro utilizzo.
