(*1976), Luciano Perondi, professional type designer and graphic designer since 1998, works in the field of graphic design related to writing (not only typography), and information design. Currently he is probably the highest renowned Italian type designer and author of numerous fonts, which are commercialized through the font library »Molotro«. In 2003 he created »Molotro«, a studio whose aim is the design of custom and commercial typefaces, information design and research on writing. Since 2007 he is role lecturer of “History of book” at Isia Urbino.

(*1979), Leonardo Romei, PhD, is a Researcher in the field of writing and graphic design, author of synsemic artifacts and projects for editorial and communication design. He teaches Semiotics at Isia Urbino and he’s a member of its Academic Senate. He has written for Progetto Grafico, Alfabeta2, Nova24 and La vita nòva of Il Sole 24 Ore, he’s the editor of the visual column “Lexicogramma” on EQUIPèCO.

(*1976), Luciano Perondi, progettista di caratteri tipografici e grafico professionista dal 1998, opera nel campo della progettazione grafica legati agli aspetti della scrittura (tipografica e non) ed é all’information design. È probabilmente il più rinomato disegnatore italiano di caratteri tipografici ed é autore di numerose font commercializzate attraverso la libreria di font »Molotro«. Nel 2003 ha dato vita a »Molotro«, occupandosi sia di progettazione di caratteri tipografici e di information design, che di ricerca nell’ambito della scrittura. Dal 2007 è docente di ruolo di Storia del libro presso l’Isia di Urbino.

Gestalterisch bewegt er sich auf dem Gebiet des Kommunikationsdesigns und ist hier spezialisiert auf Typografie und Informationsdesign. 2003 gründet er das Gestaltungsbüro »Molotro« und beschäftigt sich hier vor allem mit der Gestaltung von Schriftzeichen und Informationsdesign. Luciano’s Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt im Bereich Typographie, er ist zurzeit wahrscheinlich der renomiertesten Typdesigner Italiens. Perondi ist Autor von zahlreichen Fonts, welche über Schriftenbibliothek »Molotro« erhältlich sind. Seit 2007 ist er Dozent in Stammrolle, an der Kunstakademie »Isia« und lehrt dort »Geschichte des Buches«.

Er ist Gestalter von »synsemic« Artefakten und anderen Gestaltungsprojekten die er mit Verlagen aus dem Bereich des Kommunikationssdessigns realisiert. Auch er ist Dozent an der »Isia« in Urbino und lehrt dort Semiotik. Ausserdem ist er dort Mitglied der akademischen Leitung. Romei schreibt regelmässig für Alfabeta2, Progetto Grafico, Nova24, La vita nòva, als auch für »Il Sole 24 ore«, einer der meist gelesensten Tageszeitugen Italiens, kuriert er die Rubrik »Lexicogramma« in EQUIPèCO.
