Mundpropaganda: call for participation

Mundpropaganda is a workshop organized by the Faculty of Design and Art as part of the side activities of the Unibz Design Festival 2012, and within the framework of the collaboration with the festival of contemporary culture Transart (12.09-29.10.2012).

Mundpropaganda will be the heart of the communication plan of Transart 2012.
This year the program of the renowned festival of contemporary culture, art and music, will be spread through a capillary “word of mouth” activity. Storytellers will go trough the city of Bolzano to inform the public about the program of the Transart festival, focusing on the contents rather than on the guests’ names.

The aim of the workshop is to design and produce a series of objects/devices that will serve as support for the communication and information campaign of Transart.
Students will conceive one or more objects that will be worn by the storytellers when communicating Transart in the city of Bolzano.
The final projects will also be exhibited at the Free University of Bolzano (or another venue related to Transart).

The workshop will be lead and coordinated by
Giorgio Camuffo and Roberto Gigliotti, with Maddalena Dalla Mura (Faculty of Design and Art).

The workshop is open to all students enrolled in the Faculty of Design and Art of the Free University of Bolzano, and to all graduates from the same Faculty who have graduated in the past two semesters (up to max. 25 participants).
Students should express their interest to participate by sending an email by June 18 to: design-festival [at]
Subject of the email: ‘Mundpropaganda – participation’.
Content of the email: The email will include student’s name and surname, year of enrollment (or year/semester of graduation), telephone number.

Interested students and graduates will meet the workshop leaders at the scheduled launch meeting (June 27).
