Best before diary

People should get a new vision and perspective for expired food. It should encourage them to decide by themselves when a product is no longer edible. On the one hand, this project should inform people about the situation of the ruined food, on the other hand, the knowledge about their status of waste should induce them to consume in a more conscious way than they have ever done before.

The project “Carta und Karton – Müll non c’è” was inspired by the seminar “Müll | Materie am falschen Ort” with the lecturers Christian Upmeier, Julian Koschwitz and Valeria Burgio. My project is not a very inventive idea but a very simple one with traditional visualizations. I created some graphic forms in order to express the message at a glance.
